We have seen a very intense aurora that remained directly visible to our eyes for about three hours.

The aurora was also photographed from my automated Raspberry Pi with Pi-noir infrared camera. The result is achieved with MeteorPi software and two minutes of exposure time. The colors are staggered from the infrared component.
